CTEK Hull Unit

Qty.

The CTEK Hull Unit is a retractable, hull-mounted deployment system for sonar and positioning transducers. A precision lead-screw drive lowers the transducer clear of the hull line and retracts it fully into the trunk, operated from inside the vessel at any point in the transit, so survey work doesn’t depend on stopping or diver intervention.

Key Features

  • Electric precision lead-screw drive (380 VAC) with deployment stroke configurable from 1 m to 6 m
  • 1,800 kg lifting capacity, rated for continuous deployed operation at vessel speeds up to 10 knots
  • Built to DNV ship rules, waterproof to 2 bar / 20 m, with double-sealed drive shaft and twin zinc anodes
  • Roxtec cable penetration for clean topside integration, configurable to the client’s sonar or transducer

Applications

The Hull Unit is used on hydrographic and offshore survey vessels, port and harbour survey craft, dredging support vessels and research ships, wherever a multibeam, positioning or other hull-mounted transducer needs to be deployed below the hull and protected when not in use.

Why Choose the Hull Unit

The unit is engineered around the client’s transducer and hull depth rather than a fixed configuration, giving operators a deployment system that fits the vessel and the survey profile it actually runs.
