When Compressed Air Isn't Enough.

Modern TBM projects are going deeper and facing higher pressures — beyond the limits where conventional compressed-air interventions remain safe. At those pressures, tunnelling becomes a hyperbaric discipline, demanding the same mixed-gas expertise, decompression management and medical oversight that governs saturation diving offshore.
